GDC Services Embarks on a Pioneering Smart City and Digitalization Journey in Bavaria
This month marked a significant milestone for GDC Services as we ventured into the heart of Bavaria on a specialized delegation trip focusing on Smart City and Digitalization. Bayern International and the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy further supported this event, meticulously organized by the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK) in collaboration with EM&S GmbH.
Representing the forefront of our commitment to innovation, Filip Vukovic, our esteemed Regional Manager for the DACH region, was chosen to represent GDC Services. His participation in this 5-day tour was not only a testament to our dedication to growth but also an opportunity to delve deep into the latest IT advancements in areas like Smart City infrastructure, digitization, and the emerging field of e-mobility.
“The trip was an enlightening journey through the landscape of technological innovation. Thanks to the meticulously planned visits and tours by Cluster Mobility, Logistics/TechBase, Munich Urban Colab, and Axiros GmbH, we had the exclusive opportunity to engage with leading Bavarian companies. These interactions opened doors to a world of smart IT products, software solutions, and insights into the vibrant start-up scene in Munich and Regensburg”, says Filip.
One of the highlights of our journey was exploring the advancements in autonomous driving and e-buses in Regensburg Stadtwerk mobility. The tours through smart city neighborhoods and the exploration of the ROSA-ALSCHER Management GmbH building site offered a tangible view of the future of urban living and development.
Moreover, the theme of e-government was a crucial part of our itinerary. It allowed us to witness firsthand the exemplary practices in digital governance. This exposure was invaluable, providing a platform to exchange knowledge and ideas with our counterparts in Bavarian public organizations.
